$96.00$770.00

The painting “The Golden Clearing By The Water’s Edge” was painted from a memory of a hike taken many years ago into the high Sierra’s, when NL came upon this beautiful golden clearing at the edge of the timber line, next to a crystal clear lake from the snow melt off that was full of rainbow trout.  It became a favorite spot in her memory for a picnic and to sit awhile and take it all in.  –  Watercolor paint and watercolor pencil. Giclee prints are available in small to very large sizes, up to 42″ wide (coming soon: 60″ wide). Contact us if you want a size not listed here, or for large orders. This painting was submitted into Fusion Art’s 5th Annual Landscape competition based, in Palm Springs, California. Description

This was originally painted as two separate paintings meant to hang side by side.  NL later married the two paintings via computer in 2018, combining them to become a larger painting, better for today’s interiors.

This painting was submitted into Fusion Art’s 5th Annual Landscape competition based in Palm Springs California, and was honored as an exhibition finalist winner .  Out of over 420 entries received, NL Galbraith was awarded “finalist” status for two of her paintings in this January 2020 online competition including this painting, “The Golden clearing By The Water’s Edge”,  and the  painting titled the “Fullerton Arboretum”.    Fusion Art will show NL’s winning artworks online for the month of January, 2020.

This piece can be enlarged and become over-sized art, from 24″ wide up to 42″ wide (coming soon: 60″ wide). The overall size will increase more with the matte and frame.  This is a great piece for over a sofa, sectional, queen or king sized bed, dresser, desk or credenza, fireplace, or in a  hallway or entryway.  It’s also a great piece as a reminder to pat yourself on the back for being ecologically minded;  or  to daydream of taking a mini vacation.
